Suggest Treatment For Malaria In Child
hi am christine my baby has sypillis i have taken her to the clinic and she was injected with pencilin but now she is have fever cough and vomiting i have taken her to the clinic a gain n they say she has malaria should i treat her with malaria medicine?

Hi.... fever and cough or usually symptoms of viral illness rather than malaria. The main symptoms of malaria will be very high grade fever with chills and Rigors. Cough is usually not a prominent symptom in malaria. I suggest you go ahead with a blood smear examination for malarial parasite and if it is positive go ahead with treatment of Malaria. Usually for cough and fever Malaria drugs are not indicated.
