dear dr. Hi presently I am in afghanistan with US Army
& my wife is in india but she is in depression she talks like that if you r not coming i will suicide you just leave the job & came back but I have two year contact if I am breaking it then i have to pay 20,000 USD $ to co what i should do. pz advise .

I think you should talk and convince your wife about the contract and financial loss it could produce. Typical affectionate Indian wife may not fall prey for the financial jig. She could be worried about the present scenario in the area where you are serving with the US Army. She is worried about your life and therefore she is asking you to come back.

You have to make a decision. Which is more powerful? Money or peace of mind and family? You have to decide. You may talk to your elders regarding this and take a wise decision.
