Suggest Treatment For Migraine Headache After Blood Transfusion For A Gastronomical Ulcer

My sister had a gastronomical bleeding ulcer and had lost a lot of blood // unknown to her // she had become very anemic // had blood transfusion of 4 pints of blood Thursday !! She is home but suffering from severe migraine headaches !! What will help her !!! Please help me help her !!!

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Since your sister had been bleeding from the stomach ulcer she has to avoid and NSAIDs like Ibuprofen and Aspirin as these can cause more bleeding.
Blood transfusion may not be related to the headache and as you have mentioned this can be due to the migraine.
You should consult her Doctor before giving anything orally and to continue the medications for gastric ulcer.
It may be needed to get evaluated for headache to find the cause and getting correct treatment.
