Suggest Treatment For Mild Lower Back Pain

I've been having mild/uncomfortable lower back pain since late yesterday night, and at times it can be somewhat nauseating. It fades in and out, and sometimes feels as if my spine my crack or pop or something if I move a certain way that normally wouldn't be so uncomfortable. Should I call my doctor or rest until the pain subsides?
