General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Crestor is a medication used to lower the abnormal lipid level. This class of medication can cause muscle pain as a side effect. I suggest to use a muscle relaxant such as Baclofen three times a day. I also suggest using magnesium supplement. I recommend to avoid using Crestor and try to change the diet to lower the lipids level.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
