Suggest Treatment For Muscle Popping In Forearm After Injury

Seven months ago I was cutting the grass with a pair of barber shears. I did this several times each time it took me alittle more than an hour. After the third time my forearm started to pop and I could hear the pop and it hurts like hell when I turn my wrist. I think I may have torn a muscle in my forearm. I tried immobilizing it with a wrist brace but the popping still happens.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a turned muscle. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain. I also suggest using cold compresses for local application. I recommend ti maintain a brace to prevent further damage.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
