Suggest Treatment For Muscle Spasms And Bruised Ribs

I fell down the steps of my trailer 4 days ago. My butt hit the concrete and my back hit the last step. My husband had to help me get up and when he did it was very hard for me to breathe. He took me to the er and the dr did an xray and said I have badly bruised ribs. Today I noticed I am having muscle spasms all day long. Is this normal and how long does it take for bruised ribs to heal?
