Suggest Treatment For Nausea And Frequent Loose Stools

This is my second day to have severe to light nausea throughout the entire day, along with nasty headache that goes from severe to less severe. I tried Alka-seltzer yesterday that didn t make much difference. I have NOT vomitted, though have felt it in my throat several times. My stools are more frequent and loose, but not diarrhetic. I feel weak and light-headed. I have chills, then feel warm.I am resting all day, getting up periodically to down bland food. THe night before this started, I ate a bowl of gaszpacho with wheat bread and wine. This after eating melon in the afternoon. I inject myself with l ml of methotrexate weekly to manage my Sjogren s Disease. Does this current condition require a visit to urgent care now? Shall I wait one more day? How can I relieve this nausea now? What does it sound like to you?

Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of severe to light nausea, throughout entire day with nasty headache, Alka-seltzer did not help much, feeling in throat, have frequent stools, feeling of weakness and lighthearted, chills alternate with warm, on bland food, on Methotrexate weekly dose for Sjogren's, wants to know whether to visit ER or wait for one day and how to relieve nausea.
I would advise you the following:
Take a PPI like Omeprazole and Domperidone and see the results.
If there is relief you can wait for a day or so.
Also take antacid every three hours,
Soft bland small frequent meals.
Once you see a Doctor, send the samples of stool, blood and urine, see for liver function and kidney function tests.
And get a proper treatment for the causes found .
