Suggest Treatment For Nausea, Backache And Fatigue After IUD Removal
I HAD MY PARAGARD IUD REMOVED ON 4/13/17, SAME DAY AS MY OVULATION. HUSBAND AND I HAD INTERCOURSE (TTC). I VE HAD NAUSEA, BACK ACHE, FATIGUE, MOOD SWINGS, CRAMPING, DECREASED SEX DRIVE AND LOSS IN APPETITE. I VE TAKEN TWO HPT.. BOTH NEGATIVE. MY SCHEDULED PERIOD IS 4/27/17. IS THIS NORMAL OR IS THERE A POSSIBILITY TO BE PREGNANT?

Hi,
As you experienced, these symptoms are not because of IUD removal. In case of missed period, kindly do urine pregnancy test and ultrasound abdomen and pelvis to rule out pregnancy. For nausea you can take tablet Doxinate, and for body ache tablet Tylenol.
