hi dr.im taking thyrox 50 everday 1 tab.im trying to conceive from the last 2 months,i have all pregnanacy symptoms but have got 2 pgt.im v confused,cud i be pregnant.i am having symptoms like nausea,backache,frequent urination,high body temp,slight headache etc

Hi,
If you are menstruating regularly and do have a missed period, with all your suggestive symptoms, your chances of pregnancy are high. A home pregnancy test can read well if done 3-7 days after a missed period with a fresh early morning sample of urine. Else, you can opt for the assay of the serum beta-hCG titres, which gives an earlier and definite conclusion, being more sensitive and specific. A trans-vaginal sonogram a week after the missed period is helpful. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
