Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Does the bleeding occur from both nostrils, or from one side only? Any pain or discharge? Most common cause of nose bleed in children are mucosal dryness and nose pricking. But, since it is recurrent, we need to rule out any bleeding disorder or local pathologies. If I were your treating doctor, after examining for any local problem, I would have ordered a blood count, peripheral smear and bleeding time. Kindly discuss with your pediatrician.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
