Suggest Treatment For Nose Bleeding At Elderly Age
My husband had a nose bleed on Friday and we had to go to the ER two different times. Now there is dried bleed in his nose. How do we get it out. The had to cauth. it. We are afraid to do anything. He is a 72 years old man and it as never happened to him before in his adult life. What can we do?

dislodging a dried nose bleed could result in repeated nose bleeds (epistaxis).
i advise you to consult a ent specialist. the doctor shall apply saline nose drops to soften the dried nose bleed n shall remove it under aseptic precautions.
it is important to however get to know the reason behind repeated nose bleeds as in old age one of the commonest cause is hypertension.
