Suggest Treatment For Numbness In Hip After Injury

I fell the first of July and my leg hit the steps as I fell, the doc said it should heal in two to three weeks. I still have pain in that leg, and it feels hot, there is also an area that still feels numb, and there is discoloration and an impressive line down my leg. Should I still be concern?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to the injury. I recommend using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the inflammation. I also suggest to not to be worried, it will go away on its own gradually.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
