Hello. I injected mcat into the bend in my arm. I think I touched a nerve. Now the right side of my left arm has been numb for over a week. I have been to see the doctor and they have told me to wait to see if there is any change and then possibly do investigations on my nerves. But I am very worried that I will never get feeling back in my arm again.
I read your question and I understand your concern. I don't think your doctors are wrong though, if there has been nerve damage from the injection it will need some time for the nerve to heal itself, can be a matter of weeks, it's not a question of healing it through medication. Perhaps an ENG could be done to assess the degree of damage to the nerve, but that wouldn't change the outcome, just could make a better prediction on the chances of full recovery. I hope to have been of help
