Suggest Treatment For Oozing Of Blood In Leg After Injury
My Dad I a disabled Vet. of Vietnam He has Asian orange, Diabetes, Neuropathy (bil), He is almost bling, and is in chronic pain. He fell down 4 concrete steps breaking several bones. His VA. Dr. prescribed him some lidocaine cream. I basically applied I to most of the left side of his body. Now all the scrapes down his leg wont stop oozing blood and he wont go back to hospital. HELP what do I do?
Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that your father got injured and has oozing wounds . You should apply lidocaine and povidine iodine ointment for pain relief and to prevent infection . You can also give ibuprofen for pain relief. Antibiotics should also be given to prevent infection as he is diabetic.You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful.
