Suggest Treatment For Pain And Restricted Movement In Elbow Caused By Injury

Hi, I fell down yesterday. My right arm was straight and lying flat on a rock. I scraped my hand but my elbow was very sore and I have had to keep it bent since (about 24 hours) as it hurts to straighten. There is a mild dull pain even when it is bent. I can move my hand around with a bit of pain. The elbow feels very heavy when I try to lift it even at the bent position. Is it possible I have broken my elbow? The pain was not excruciating when I fell nor is it now - perhaps a 6 out of 10 on a pain scale.

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I think that you are having soft tissue injury your elbow. It is unlikely to be fractured. However you can get its x ray to rule out fracture. Treatment of it is icing, rest and analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any further questions then don't hesitate to writing to us . I will be happy to help you.
