Suggest Treatment For Pain And Swelling In Toe Area

Out of the blue I have excruciating pain in my left second toe area... very difficult to move toes up but with pain can move toes down. The pain is on top at the base of the toe and on bottom at the base of the toe, with some swelling at the base. VERY difficult to put my foot down on the ground (barefoot with sock) let alone walk on it. This came out of know where about an hour or two ago... it has been persistent ever since....very sharp intense pain that could bring tears to my eyes if I walk on it the wrong way.

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you are having excruciating pain in left second toe area .There is also some swelling. You can take analgesic such as diclofenac to relieve pain . you need x-ray of it to further investigate the cause. Do you also having fever? You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.
