Suggest Treatment For Pain And Swelling On Big Toe

A week ago, I was going to take a step to the side but my big toe was bent under and I stepped on it. It isn t my toe that hurts, but the big rounded bone right before my toe on the top of my foot. Pain and swelling. If I don t elevate or ice, my whole foot swells.

Welcome to healthcare magic.
After going through your query it seems to be soft tissue injury or fracture. In acute stage rest and analgesics(Diclofenac) is its treatment.
But as your foot swells so you need to do its x-ray so that fracture can be seen and treated accordingly.
