Suggest Treatment For Pain And Swelling On Hip After An Injury

I fell last night on a wet patch and smashed to the ground. My hip hit the floor first so took the full impact as my arms didn t save me. Today I can hardly walk and my hip and the top of my leg is all swollen and very very painful. No bruising has come out which I thought it would. Please can I have some advise.

Hi,Welcome to healthcare magic.After going through your query I think you are suffering bony injury(fracture) hip. Rest and analgesics (diclofenac three times a day after meals) are given to relieve pain. You should get x ray done to confirm fracture .You can see an orthopedician.These fracture generally require operation.So you will require hospitalization.I think your query answered.Welcome to any follow up query.
