Suggest Treatment For Pain And Swelling On Thumb

experiencing pain from left thumb and appears a bit swollen. Cannot touch my pinky as I can do with my right hand. I lifted a big screen tv last night and today I woke up during the middle of the night with severe pain. Should I just ice it and take alleve?

It looks like sprain of thumb joint sprain.. Only ice application 3 times a day. May use thumb Spica splint for 5-7 days.. And pain still persist after 1 month. Go for orthopedic evaluation
