Suggest Treatment For Pain And Tenderness Near Elbow After A Fall

i fell a week ago and landed on just below my elbow. i went to the doctors and had an X-ray that day and they couldn t see a break. its been a week now and i have a bruise 1 1/2 sizes bigger then my hand and my arm (from half up the forearm and half the top of the arm) is swollen. it is tender to out stretch i can t fully stretch my arm out straight. and it hurts to bend the elbow and rotate my arm and wrist. the pain is just above the elbow and below (on the top of arm if your looking at it) is that makes sense. should i be concerned.

Hello,
I have studied your case and I think that you might be having elbow soft tissue injury. It is as painful as bony injury. I would recommend you following.
1. You need splinting of the elbow, either by plaster or by brace.
2. Ice application.
3. Tablet Brufen twice daily .
4. If pain is still not decreasing after seven days than get MRI to see if there is any ligament damage is present or not.
I hope these steps will help you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
Thanks
