Painful intercourse may be due to insufficient lubrication. this happens when there is not enough foreplay. you may request your husband to increase the time spent on foreplay before the actual act of intercourse. K-Y jelly, under medical supervision may used for lubrication. Low dose estrogen creams may be used only with the prescription of a doctor. Kegel Exercises relax the pelvic muscles which is taught by physiotherapists. I also suggest you to speak with a reputed sex therapist/counsellor to ease your stress regarding sex.
