Suggest Treatment For Pain During Urination Despite Taking Codeine
My bladder lining is completely ulcerated, probably as a delayed reaction to 6 treatments of R-CHOP with last treatment 1/23/17. Problems started March 17. Waiting for a consultation with U of MI at the end of Nov. Meanwhile, one urologist has recommended cyclosporine 200mg/day for 30 days. However, I m in stage 3 CKD. Neither codeine (30 mg) nor oxycodone (5 mg) alleviates the severe pain (VAS score 8-10) experienced when I empty my bladder completely, which i try to do as infrequently as possible! I urinate about every 30 minutes around the clock but am usually able to leave some in the bladder during the night. Daytime I am in pain 3-8 times which lasts about 20 minutes. Any thoughts on treatment or pain management until I see the specialist?
