Suggest Treatment For Pain During Urination With Fever

My husband, age 66, has had burning when tee teeing today, had chills, and a tad of fever. We bought cranberry juice, and he has been drinking that and lots of water. What else can he do at home to get over this bladder infection, or should he go see doctor?

thanks so much for your question, Antibiotics usually are the first line treatment for urinary tract infections. Which drugs are prescribed and for how long depend on your health condition and the type of bacteria found in your urine by conducting laboratory investigation. so you can go to your doctor he will add pain relieve drug which will help to reduce that pain during urinating, phenazopyridine (Pyridium) may be use for the burning pain sensation.
