Hi my husband hS a bladder infection. Since Tuesday. He has a large Cather in. Is taking a antibiotic. No pain in the beginning at all. Now everyday he is more pain & very sore. . Hip I guess muscle, is hard. Legs are swollen. So is foot. He can t walk. Is this common. Why was this Cather left in.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. The swallowed legs and that he cant move them is not related to infection. The catheter is used since he cant empty bladder himself so to help him. He may have hypertrophy of prostate . Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
