Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have increasing pain in my right buttock near where it attaches to the leg. It has been progressively worse over the last 6 months. I run and am overweight by about 50 lbs. I had a serious attack of sciatica some years ago treated with anti-inflamatory shots and pills and no pain since 6 months ago. Will physiotherapy be appropriate or should I see my family doctor first?
