Suggest Treatment For Pain In Hip Bone After A Fall

About 3 nights ago I was climbing over a fence and then landed right on my left hip bone and it still hurts, especially when waking up in the morning, getting up and sitting down, and walking. Sometimes when I lay in bed it hurts when I cough or sneeze. Im really not sure if I bruised it badly, or if I may have fractured it. The fence was 5ft tall, give or take, and it was a nasty fall. Advice??

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear patient
Since you have fallen from height possibility of underlying fracture needs to be ruled out. You need Xray of left hip with femur anteroposterior and lateral views to rule out fracture. If it turns normal then it's mostly gluteus sprain. take rest for five days and start tab diclofenac plus serratiopeptodase combination twice a day for 5 days. Muscle sprain takes time to heal and so take proper rest for that time. If Xray shows fracture need to consult expert orthopaedic surgeon nearby you.
