Suggest Treatment For Pain In Legs

. I am having episode of pain in my leg. It is worse than sciatic pain. It is in the upper front leg area. According, to the Dermatome Chart/Map it is the L1 area. When I stand, on my leg, it feels as if there is a bone bending and twisting to the point it about to snap all while being stabbed. Can Psoriatic Arthritis cause pain like this?

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello,
I do not think that this pain is caused by psoriasis as that pain is not caused in dermatome but it involves specific joints. So I think it is most probably nerve related pain. I would recommend you to get a spine examination and EMG/NCV testing. This testing will confirm us what is the cause of this condition and than accordingly we can plan for further management.
Till that time I would recommend you to get Pregabalin tablet one daily and Methyl cobal tablet one daily. I hope this will answer your query. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
Thanks.
