Suggest Treatment For Pain In Lower Back And Numbness In Legs

My lower back has been causing me extreme pain for thr past few weeks. Anything I do hurts. Plus, my left leg goes numb or has sharp shooting pain down it. I have no insurance. It was recommended that I go see a chiropractor. The first visit went ok. Then today he started massaging my back. The pain was so excruciating that I started crying and begged him to stop. He told me that he had to be aggressive to help with the pain. Needless to say, I ve been in even more pain since then. I don t know what else to do.

Lower back pain and numbness in legs is clear indicator of Lumbo-sacral spine disc problem. It could be prolapsed, degenerated or osteophytes have come up putting pressure on supplying nerve.

Best way iscto get x Ray for assessing the extent, lumbar belt support and traction if required. Pain killers and massage will have little help. Forceful massage may even have further. Be alert.

The problem will go when intervertebral disc spaces are maintained.

Hope this info will help you.
