Suggest Treatment For Pain In Right Side Of Abdomen

I am 23, 5ft 3, just over 6 stone. I have IBS and i take pain killers. I am currently under going test for pains in my right side stomach. The pains vary from mild to severe. Pressure hurts it. However just about 30 minutes ago i am very tender to touch (very slightly) near my belly button, it gives me shivers when anything catches that area otherwise i can stand the pain. It feels like a trapped nerve or pulled muscle. I dont see my doctor for another week. Is there anything i can do to ease it.

Hello,

Right side colic pain may be due to
1. Renal stone
2. Gallbladder stone
3. Hepatitis
4. Cholecystitis
5. Colitis
6. Appendicitis etcetera.
Treatment may vary depending upon the cause, please consult your treating doctor, and get it done an ultrasound of abdomen and get treated accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
