My 16 year old son is complaining that his left testicle feels pushed up into his pelvis some and rotated. It feels like it s being squeezed he said. He has no fever, discharge, or other symptoms that he is aware of. He also says it comes and goes, and has been like this the past couple months.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history related to your 16 year old son who is complaining that his left testicle feels pushed up into his pelvis some and rotated. It feels like it s being squeezed he said. He has no fever, discharge, or other symptoms that he is aware of. He also says it comes and goes, and has been like this the past couple months. This is called retractile testis and id due to strong cremaster muscle which when pulls the testis up, rotates it partially due to its spiral action. The suggested treatment is : Consult Urologist for clinical evaluation and actual examination. Ultrasonography and color doppler examination. Surgical correction of the defect if necessary.
