Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Abdomen And Fever

My husband is 60 years old, overweight, and experiencing a constant pain in his centralized stomach area with no fever but is belching. No arm or chest pain. Has been in pain for approximately 4 hours. He drank some ginger ale, but then vomited. No food vomited, just liquid. What do you advise?
