General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

These structures are called hamstrings. These are semitendinosus and semimembranosus. For pain you can take analgesic such as ibuprofen. Vitamin B and C help in recovery. For details about injury you can get MRI of knee joints. You can discuss with your doctor about it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Iven Romic Rommstein, General Surgeon
