Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Lower Right Pelvic Area

I m a 48 yr old female that for the past hour I am having pain in my lower right pelvic area....the pain comes in cycles and when it hits a 10, it feels like a ruptured ovarian cyst, except, my ovaries were removed 3 yrs ago...along with gallbladder and appendicts.. I had a hysterectomy 5 yrs ago..i also hear a gurgling sound. i get relief when the pain is at a 4, but curl up and have to press into my pelvic area when it peaks...i saw my np today because i have 0 funds and have been w/o bp meds for a week

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you should get immediately evaluated by doctor. It seems like bowel obstruction and having those too many surgeries makes the fibrotic tissue to overgrow forming a defenses and may compromise intestines trapping them between fibers. This can make the passage of food difficult.

Hope I have answered the question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
