Suggest Treatment For Pain In Upper Left Side Of Abdomen

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I'm 33, am just under 5' tall and weigh about 115 lbs. When I push on the upper left side of my abdomen just under my rib cage I get a sharp pain. It's in the same place every time. I've had an ultrasound which came up with nothing. What should my next step be?

Dear feeling sorry about your problem but nothing to worry.

If the pain is priking type aggravate d after deep inspiration. Caused by pleuracy.

If pain is burning aggravate after food with belching maybe due to gastritis.

If pain is colicky with burning micturition with vomiting may be due to renal calculi.

If pain at the left chest squeezing or stabbing type of pain radiating to left arm may be due to cardiac origin.

If pain is dull achy with stomach fullness may be due to spleen enlargement.

If pain is full episodic with squeezing type with mucous or blood in stool may be spleenic flexur of colon inflammation.

So you need complete examination and further evaluation please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
