Suggest Treatment For Pain On The Right Side Above The Pelvic Bone
I had a csection 4 weeks ago and am still spotting on and off, though it was over and now ever now and then small light red clots and lots of discharge some times yellowish. I also have side pains on the right side above the pelvic bone. is that normal?
It can be a post-operative inflammatory pain. Another possibility is spinal pain following anaesthesia.
As first-line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult a physician and get evaluated. An ultrasound scan is required for further assessment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
