Suggest Treatment For Painful Bowel Movements

I was diagnosed with genital herpes and it is in my anus area. I haven t let myself poop for several days because the pain to make a bowel movement hurts so bad. Is there anything I can do to have a bowel movement without the pain? I tried stool softeners, hasn t helped.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your child have symptoms of painful bowel movements which seems to be due to due to lack of fibres in diet leading to constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, food poisoning and viral gastroenteritis. Need not to worry. You should take diet rich in fibres. I would suggest you to avoid eating heavy and spicy and eat small and frequent meals, eat 1-2 banana in a day and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain. You should take one spoon of esbogol as well. If condition doesn't get well then consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe loperamide, ornidazole along with anti inflammatory medications.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
