Hello dear, Hailey Hailey disease as you know causes cracking of skin with or without discharge and affects mainly axilla and groin. In management , you should continue with topical strong steroid like clobetasol propionate cream, with antibiotic cream.and main thing is to maintain good skin hygiene at the Fold sites by cleaning the area with Luke warm water, or potassium permengenate diluted solution soaks. and if it s not controlled with this , you can try tetracycline 500 mg capsule 4 times a day initially for 2 week than only one capsule per day for few weeks for maintenance therapy.oral steroids may be needed if the condition is very severe, but I will prefer oral tetracycline first and than will think of steroids.
