Suggest Treatment For Painful Period With Heavy Bleeding

I am experiencing a painful period with heavy bleeding. I experience these painful periods frequently and have spoke to my dr. and was suggested I take birth control. I did not agree. I am also having sharp pain in my right side towards my tailbone and down to my knee . Do you suggest I go to the ER?

Hi,

You can take Mefenemic acid/Tranexemic combination like “Meftal-TX” for symptomatic relief. Drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated. If symptoms persist, better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.
