Suggest Treatment For Painful Urination

I've been experiencing slight pain when i urinate. Also I've got discomfort in my urethra. I'm also leaking a little liquid throughout the day and feel the need to urinate a lot more. My urine has been tested and came back as normal. A doctor prescribed me a weeks supply of nitrofurantoin which I have finished but had no improvement

I can understand your concern. As per your history, As you have painful urination and urine routine is normal and nitrofurointoin is also not helpful, so you can take tab. cefpodoxime 200 mg. other causes may be UTI, cystitis, bladder stone, injury or blunt trauma. Kindly do ultrasound abdomen and pelvis and urine culture sensitivity. Drink lot of fluids. You can take tab. buscopam plus tab. paracetamol, syp. disodium hydrogen citrate 10 ml. Kindly consult with urologist with report.
