General & Family Physician, Dr. Amarnath's Response
detailed answer : you must first understand that the cause of paralysis is due to the increase in the blood pressure levels. increase in the blood pressure in the brain vessels will rupture which in turn cause a hemorrhage . controlling blood pressure is more important in the treatment and also in reducing the further damage to the brain. without lowering the blood pressure will cause further hemorrhage. he is a diabetic person. when sugar levels are not controlled it causes the blood vessels in the brain to be damaged fast. the treatment now is continue speech and physiothereapy continue your medications for blood sugar and blood pressure avoid oil rich and fatty foods avoid salt rich foods have a walk if he can now with support due to the complications of diabetes the kidney get more damaged than by taking medications. if sugar levels are not in control discuss with your treating physician for a insulin regimen. have adequate sleep have a stress free life hope this explains regards Dr.Amarnath
