General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

One should not apply ear drops before consulting a doctor. Consult an ENT specialist and evaluated.

An otoscopic examination is required. Most of the perforations heal by itself without many complications. Rarely surgical correction is required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
