Suggest Treatment For Persistent Acid Reflex

Doctor I am suffering from Acid Reflux for the past 5 years and taking medicine periodically when I sufferred. I am taking PAN-D for 2months and it is temporarily cured. After a gap of 4 months again I have to take the tab. Like that I am doing. My main problem is when I lie down I get irritation at the throat and somtimes felt breathing trouble. When I checked with cardiologist he told it ;is not cardio problem it is Acid refllux and prescribed Pan-d. I would like to know whether any remedy in Siddha for this? I am not taking fried items and avoided taking food outside also. I am 70 years old and done bypass surgery five years back. Also I want to know can I meet you in person and if so where is your clinic? I will be glad if you inform me. Thanking you Yours Jagatheesan email: YYYY@YYYY

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

You may be suffering from chronic acid reflux it may be due to gastritis or a hiatal hernia or lax lower oesophagal sphincter etc.

It may be aggravated by spicy food and alcohol intake. Avoid alcohol and oily food. Take soft diet, drink plenty of water, eat small quantity meals with increased frequency.

Use tablet Nexpro-l before breakfast for one week. If symptoms not improved please consult your gastroenterologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
