General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Before I form a diagnosis I would like to ask if he has any joints pain, rashes on his body. If yes then you should check for chikungunya and dengue virus. If he shivers with sweating when his fever goes away, if yes you should check for malaria. If any GIT symptoms, you should check for typhoid too. All other diagnoses can be excluded. Till then paracetamol tablets and peripheral rubbing to lessen the temperature.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
