Suggest Treatment For Persistent Upper Abdominal Pain

Hi Doctor, For one week I have been having moderate upper stomach pain, the pain is worse when I eat or drink anything. Antacids only slightly help. The pain is less severe if I am lying flat on my back. I am 54 years old, have had a total hysterectomy 30 years ago. I have also had an appendectomy many years ago. I am very healthy and not overweight. Thank you, Candy

the treatment I suggest is the H2 receptor blockers that is more efficient than antiacids there scientific names are Ranitidine 150 mg twice daily,or famotidine 20 mg twice daily .
