General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

The management of piles depend upon its clinical severity, stage upon examination. Primary stages as first and initial part of second degree with minor discomfort, constipation, peri anal itch and absence of bleeding are best controlled with sitz bath, laxatives and dietary care with life style modifications.

The advance stage of second degree, third and forth degree piles with prolapse, bleeding per rectum require surgical intervention at one or other time in life for permanent cure.

So far as type of surgical intervention is concerned, one can opt for laser therapy, staple surgery or others as per the expertise of the procto surgeon and the charges would depend upon the consultant as well as procedure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
