Suggest Treatment For Pinworm Infection

I believe my son had pinnworms and the dr took my word for it and prescribed him medicine. I called my dr and they called me in medicine as well. I ve searched online for a week now, but can t find an answer. I go through both of our stools and after two weeks I m still seeing a lot of worms(I think) but they don t move. I suffer from constipation and don t have a bum every day, but usually every other day. My son has one every day and still pulls in his pants. I haven t ever seen a moving worm, but it looks like there are a bunch of them in my stool and his. I can t find photos online so I don t know what is going on.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
This is about you and your son both having probable pin-worms.
The treatment is obvious by taking the medications for pin-worms and to be repeated after 15 days.
At the same time eradication is very important by the following ways:
Send the stool samples for three consecutive days.
Also get blood tests to see id there is eosinophilia.
Wash the hands with soap and water on every visit to the bathroom.
Use fresh boiled and cooked food only.
Boiled and cooled water.
No outside or packaged foods.
All the members of family should be treated simultaneously.
Paring of nails and no nail-biting.
All these measures surely help to have eradication of worms from your family.
