Suggest Treatment For Plugged Ears And Pressure In Head

Hi, I have chronic sinusitus due to mold allergies. I have been dealing with plugged ears for the last 4 years - off & on. I have been seeing the same ENT doctor for years. He is familiar with all my problems. Two months ago I had tubes put in both ears, but there is no relief from the plugged ears, popping, cracking and feeling that my head is full of cotton (pressure). I saw my doctor today and one of the tubes was covered with puss which he cleaned up. There was still puss in both ears. My doctor wants me to see an auto-immune deficiency doctor since this condition persists. What are your feelings on this?

Hello,

You may be suffering from bilateral eustachian tube block with acute otitis media.

So you may get sent the pus for microscopy and culture sensitivity.

Use water vapour inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.

Use tablet amoxiclav 625 mg twice a day for five days. Use tablet Sinarest twice a day for five days.

If symptoms not improved please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
