Hello Ms. Priya,
Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. I have gone through your query and here are your answers: 1. The condition is caused by hormone disturbance. The FSH, LH ratio is altered leading to absent or irregular ovulation. If associated with abnormal weight gain, excessive hair growth on the body and face, and other hormone imbalances, PCOD can be diagnosed. 2. Infertility is the most common problem faced apart from menstrual irregularities. Other effects may involve the bones and cardiovascular system later in life. 2. The condition responds very well to management. Please maintain a healthy lifestyle. Hope this helps.
