Suggest Treatment For Post Surgical Pain From Right Hip To Ankle

I am 63 years old and have been very active until hip replacement surgery on my left hip just over a year ago. I am now experiencing constant pain from my right hip to my ankle. The most pain is in my right calf down to the ankle. It feels as though someone is pinching it. The only medication I have taken is aspirin.

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that you got left hip replacement. Now you are having pain in right hip which radiates to right knee and calf. Most likely you may be having right hip osteoarthritis and you need right hip replacement also. Osteoarthritis can be confirmed by x ray of right hip. Another possibility is than you had radiating pain from lumbar spondylitis due to any pinched nerve.,This can be confirmed by MRI of lumbar spine. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to help you.
Wishing you a good health. Take care.
